DESCRIPTION:The Master of Bioethics Program at the University of Pennsylvania invites you to join us for our next MBE/MSME Alumni Colloquium speaker. \nSpeaker: Benjamin Barsky\, JD\, MBE\nEmerging Bioethical Issues in Carceral Health Care and Policy  \nBIO: Benjamin A. Barsky is fellow at the Harvard Law School Project on Disability and the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics. This summer\, he will join the University of California College of the Law\, San Francisco as an Associate Professor of Law. Ben’s research intersects health and criminal law\, behavioral health policy\, and disability rights. His work is or has been supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation\, the Commonwealth Fund\, the Horowitz Foundation for Social Policy\, the National Institute on Drug Abuse\, and the National Institute of Mental Health. He received his J.D. and Master of Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania and B.A. in Public Health Studies and Psychological & Brain Sciences from Johns Hopkins University.
