DESCRIPTION:The ethical complexities of conducting research in conflict zones raise important questions about researcher responsibilities and participant protections. Join us for a panel discussion where we will explore a number of questions concerning these issues: How do we\, or can we\, draw boundaries about what counts as a conflict or war setting for research purposes? How should we think about the priorities of research in conflict situations? Are participants in such research vulnerable\, requiring special protections? DESCRIPTION:The NYU Division of Medical Ethics Working Group on Pediatric Gene Therapy & Medical Ethics is thrilled to be coming up on our 5th Annual Lunchtime Lecture Series (LLS)\, 2nd-6th from 12 -1:15 pm ET each day! This is a free\, virtual series that you can register for HERE. \n  \nThe LLS is our favorite event of the year\, where we do what PGTME does best: gather GT stakeholders to discuss ongoing and evolving ethical issues in pediatric GT.
