Our next seminar is on Wednesday 14 January at 6 p.m. GMT, when Professor Bryan Pilkington will speak on ‘Understanding Conscientious Objection.’ 

Bryan Pilkington is Professor of Bioethics in the Department of Medical Sciences at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, where he is the ethics content lead.  His recent publications include The Medical Act: Conscientious Practice in a World of Dissention and Disagreement (Springer Nature, 2025).
