Ethics of Using Artificial Intelligence in Research and Writing: Emerging Issues

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the nature of research and scholarly writing. Although the use of AI offers many benefits to scientific research and academic scholarship, it also creates ethical challenges concerning bias, authorship, transparency, accountability, and public trust. This talk examined some of the ethical issues raised by using artificial intelligence in scientific research and scholarly writing and discussed some proposed solutions.
