Bioethics Network of Ohio: “Clinical Ethics Consultation: The Weight of the Work”

This talk will report on research conducted about the experiences of those doing work as Healthcare Ethics Consultants, including the most emotionally difficult aspects of their work, the institutional and systemic factors that spread their emotional experiences, and the ways in which they coped with the emotional challenges of their work, and will encourage attendees to reflect on their own experiences in relation to their findings.
