Moral Distress: Unpacking, Identifying & Managing a Human Experience

This live virtual event will feature a compelling discussion led by Hilary Mabel, JD, HEC-C, bioethicist and healthcare ethicist from the Emory University Center for Ethics and Assistant Professor at Emory University’s School of Medicine.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Discuss the ethical concept of moral distress and its application within healthcare.
  2. Identify causes of moral distress and how they might impact clinical care.
  3. Strategize ways to mitigate moral distress felt by healthcare professionals.

 

CME Credits will be offered for live participation. The University of Colorado School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
