Pediatric Ethics Grand Rounds: “Wearing Two White Coats: An Introduction to Pediatric Clinical Research Ethics”

Learning Objectives:

  1. Contrast key differences between clinical and research ethics.
  2. Describe historical events that have led to research ethics protections.
  3. Identify processes that protect children who participate in clinical research.

Target Audience and Learner Outcomes: 

This program is designed for CHCO team members who provide clinical care to our pediatric patients. After attending this event, participants will report increased knowledge and intent to change practice when navigating ethical challenges that occur during the care of pediatric patients.

Continuing Education Credit:

Attendance, sign-in and submission of the evaluation, including a written response to questions related to any change in practice that you may make as a result of learning that took place at this activity, are required for successful completion and receipt of the certificate of attendance.
