Transplant Ethics and Policy Conference

Join us on Thursday, October 17, 2024 to hear clinicians, investigators, regulators, and other leaders in the field discuss pressing issues in transplant ethics and policy! Marking the 40th anniversary of the National Organ Transplant Act (NOTA), this conference will focus on the evolution of organ donation and transplant regulation and practice in the United States.

Discussions will proactively address emerging and critical ethical challenges with panelists including Dr. Robert Montgomery, Dr. Robert Truog, Alexandra Glazier, Dr. Eduardo Rodriguez, and many more pioneers and experts in transplant research, medicine, and policy. The conference’s keynote address will be delivered by Martine Rothblatt, PhD, JD, MBA, founder & CEO of United Therapeutics.

Marking the 40th anniversary of the National Organ Transplant Act (NOTA), this conference will focus on the evolution of organ donation and transplant regulation and practice in the United States. Panel discussions will proactively address emerging and critical ethical challenges in transplant research, medicine, and policy.

The first portion of the day will focus on existing policy and the current restructuring of transplant oversight.
