More-Accurate Cancer Treatment

Two patients with the same type of cancer may have very different reactions to identical chemotherapy treatments because their cancers have different genetic causes. Doctors currently can’t predict which patients will have a good long-term response to a drug and which patients’ cancer will come back. (Technology Review)
