The University of Toronto is breaking new ground in the health-care field with empathy training sessions for medical students and nurses.

The new program is part of a two-year course in the Arts and Sciences of Clinical Medicine that places special emphasis on the human side of medicine, something badly needed in today’s hectic world of health care. (Pembroke Daily Observer)
