Gene testing: doctors will be agony aunts

“Australians will want their genes tested when DNA sequencing becomes widely available, and they’ll look to doctors to talk them through it, research suggests. More than half of 800 adults interviewed in a recent study said they would snap up an offer to have their genes tested – typically because they expected it to boost their overall health.”  (Ethics and Health Law News)
