Op-Ed: Cure shouldn’t come at cost of degrading value of human life

Listen carefully because it’s a little different from what much of the media has been and will be reporting this week: This country is making amazing advances in using stem cells to treat and cure many dreadful diseases. Notice I did say “is,” not “might be if George Bush wasn’t such a religious zealot that he won’t fund–or allow–embryonic stem cell research.” Most people think the latter statement is true because most of the media believes and pretty much says that it’s true.
