Op-Ed: Embryonic stem cell research fails in many ways to reader

October 27, 2006

Facts: Killing human embryos for scientific research is unethical. Creating these embryos solely for the purpose of human experimentation is morally repugnant and scientifically wrong.

Embryonic stem cell research has not successfully treated or cured a single disease – not in a human being, not in even a mouse. The promise of cures is irresponsible and gives false hope to those suffering from disabling disease or injury. (Times Leader)
