U.S. Medical Schools Training More Students with Disabilities

(Reuters) – A growing number of doctors in training have psychological disorders and chronic health problems, a U.S. study suggests. Researchers analyzed data on disabilities reported by students at 64 U.S. medical schools in 2016 and 2019. The proportion of students reporting disabilities climbed 69% during this period, from 2.7% to 4.6%.
