‘Ebola Could Have Wiped Us All’: Slow Lockdown Haunts Uganda

(New York Times) – Officials in Uganda, a landlocked nation in East Africa, now acknowledge that they hesitated to impose similar restrictions in the recent Ebola outbreak because of the lingering anger, resentment and trauma over the strict Covid measures.
