September 3, 2009

Jedi Mind, Inc. announced today that their Medical Division is now working on a number of medical applications for patients in wheelchairs. An estimated 1.6 million Americans residing outside of institutions use wheelchairs, according to data from the National Health Interview Survey on Disability (NHIS-D). Jedi Mind’s Medical Division is seeking to develop software application that is entirely based on the cognitive process, or “thought control”. Some applications already exist but depend more on physical input such as facial expressions. (Medical News)
