It’s against the law in most countries, including the United States, to buy or sell human organs for transplant. But that doesn’t mean organ sales don’t happen, as evidenced by the recent story of organ-brokering uncovered as part of a larger corruption scandal in New York and New Jersey. (Star Tribune)
