In the first known case of genetic discrimination charges in the United States, a Connecticut woman claims she was fired from her job because she carries a gene linked to breast cancer. The woman, Pamela Fink, worked as a public relations director at MXEnergy Company, a natural gas and energy company. MXEnergy emphatically denies any allegations of wrongdoing. (9NEWS)
