Dallas Nurse with ‘Big Heart’ Identified as Latest Ebola Patient

(Dallas Morning News) – The Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas nurse who is the first person to contract Ebola in the U.S. has been identified as Nina Pham. Friends of the family confirmed that the 26-year-old is the Ebola patient. The Dallas Morning News had identified her on Sunday through public records, social media sites, a state nursing database and interviews. Pham was described by her friends as a compassionate nurse who is devoted to helping others.
