Assisted Suicide: Is It Simply Death Over Disability?

(Union Times San Diego) – The public policy debate surrounding assisted suicide, and whether or not it should become a normalized component of our health care system, has once again intensified in California. While proponents have waged an aggressive public relations campaign to re-brand assisted suicide as “death with dignity” and “aid in dying,” we must ask ourselves if this is really just death over disability.
