(ABC.net) – Euthanasia advocate Dr Philip Nitschke wins his NT Supreme Court appeal to retain his medical licence, but says he is too busy with his comedy career to practise medicine. Dr Nitschke’s medical licence was suspended in July last year, after he admitted in an ABC interview to supporting 45-year-old Perth man Nigel Brayley’s decision to take his own life despite knowing he was not terminally ill.
