Tasmania Passes Voluntary Assisted Dying Legislation, Becoming Third State to Do So

(Australian Broadcasting Co) – Tasmania will become the third Australian state to legalise voluntary assisted dying. Legislation passed Tasmania’s parliament on Tuesday night, with a final vote in the Legislative Council accepting amendments from the Lower House. Victoria and Western Australia have already made voluntary assisted dying legal.
