Stem Cells to Replace Heart Ops?

August 27, 2014

(Daily Mail) – Patients with chronic heart failure are to receive pioneering stem cell treatment in a new trial which could herald a cure for the biggest killer ‘in the industrial world’. It could offer new hope for ‘end-stage’ patients with the most severe form of heart failure who rely on external machines to pump blood around the body to stay alive.
