(IMTJ) – When I first wrote about medical tourism, it was widely assumed that medical tourism was good for countries seeking medical tourists… and those sending patients to other countries. If you read most of the medical tourism press, what the industry feeds to the global media, and what is expounded at conferences, you would assume that medical tourism is benign and harms nobody.
