Octogenarian French Couple ‘in Suicide Pact’

(The Telegraph) – An 84-year-old Frenchman who reportedly could not bear the anguish of losing his terminally ill wife, has shot her dead in her hospital bed and then turned the weapon on himself in an apparent suicide pact. Their dramatic deaths are likely to fuel France’s heated debate on weather to legalise euthanasia.
