Oregon Lawmakers Poised to Vote on Clone-and-Kill Bill

June 21, 2007

Taxpayers would fund the destruction of human life. The Oregon state House will vote on legislation Wednesday that would allow tax dollars to go to researchers who want to clone human embryos, then kill them for their stem cells. The bill, HB 2801, would create a Human Stem-Cell Research Committee and a grant fund, which the committee would use to provide funds to researchers. (Citizen Link)
