Jane Hawking: Stephen Is Not Giving a Blanket Approval for Assisted Dying

(The Telegraph) – Jane Hawking, the former wife of Professor Stephen Hawking, has urged the public to be cautious of the scientist’s support for assisted dying, saying: “While there’s life, there’s hope”.  Jane, the mother of the professor’s three children, said people must be “very careful” about how they interpret his public backing of assisted suicide, warning that it must not be seen as “blanket approval”.
