TikTok Asks Supreme Court to Intervene on U.S. Ban

(Wall Street Journal) – TikTok on Monday asked the Supreme Court to delay enforcement of a national security law that could effectively ban the popular social-media app in the U.S. next month.
In an emergency application, lawyers for TikTok and its parent company, Beijing-based ByteDance, asked the court to suspend the ban while they appeal a lower-court ruling upholding the law, which is supposed to take effect Jan. 19. (Read More)
