South Korea launches medical tourism plan

The South Korea government has announced that from 2012, foreign patients will be able to get compensation if they fall victim to medical malpractice in South Korea. Currently, there is no proper compensation system for foreign patients on malpractice as hospitals and clinics are reluctant to pay higher subscription rates for insurance.  (IMTJ)
